Default OEM 16" Wheel resurfacing

Anyone have any luck with local wheel refinishers or resurfacers?

I want see about chroming the OEM wheels and getting rid of the clear. The wheels are showing some scratches and I have an extra set for autocross.

I, for one, think that powdercoating looks a lot better on the S since it is pretty well devoid of chrome. TypeSH can point you to someone that can powdercoat. I'm not sure about chroming, though I know most of the dealers do it and then mark up the wheels a ton.

If you are dying to know, I can ask the parts guys I know at Vandergriff and see where they send them to be done and what the cost is.

I'm interested in finding someone locally that can chrome OEM wheels. My car is Blue and I don't know if powder coating would look good on this color. I may be wrong. Do you know of a local powder coater that I could call and/ or visit.

Thanks for your input.

Send a PM to TypeSH. He had his OEM ones coated.

I personally think that gunmetal or a medium gray would look pretty good against the blue.

I have the set of wheels that TypeSH had powdercoated gunmetal. If you want to test-fit them to see how they look, you're more than welcome to.
