The calendar at DFWMiata.com is the best link in DFW for local autocrossing.
As for upcoming events, the next one is actually an Equipe Rapide event at Pennington Field in Bedford on Sunday the 3rd.

I'd like to thank the organizers for putting on a great event! The Z had some extreme ill-handling, but I still managed a good finish in the "others" group.
I'd like to give a big thanks to WildnCrazy for letting me drive his S2000 on the fun runs. Within a lap, I had managed to beat my best time that I set in my Z.
I have to admit the S2000 is an amazing car, right out of the box.

My no means is this an exhaustive list of people who helped out, but just some of the ones I personally interacted with.
Jeret for a great, fun course.
David, Doug and Jessica for letting me get away from the timing computer.
Hal for keeping an eye out for everybody's safety (and lending a drive to Jeret so he could bring his truck for setting up.)
Joseph for taking driver's meeting duties.
All the people who helped with course setup, con chalking, teardown, etc.
And all the participants for their patronage (18 S2000s is one of the larger fields we've had) and their patience with some, um, equipment issues. (Be thankful for paper clips! )
If you had fun yesterday, help us out by telling your friends about our events. And if anybody ever needs help with something during an event - whether it be in-car instruction, or advice, or mechanical assistance, don't hesitate to ask up.

I thought the "R" group was for R-Compound Tires? I ran on street tires, and they are nowhere near competition level rubber.
As far as I know, I placed 3rd in the "Others" group. 2003 Nissan 350Z with street tires.

Thanks to everyone that came out early and stayed late to help make this event happen. Good turnout of S2000 drivers and no one signed up and then bailed out which is a new record! Nice driving to R Jones, smoking fast lap on street tires and the course designer didn't disapoint either with a very quick 71.2 in a Miata. See you all at the next one, hopefully it will be 20 degrees cooler.
