Default NTS2KOC Golf Scramble?

I haven't played much golf lately, but recently played in a best-ball scramble and had a great time. Anyone think that would be a good activity for the group?

We could meet at Grapevine Golf Course (Top 100 Public Course) on a Friday afternoon (late, about 4pm) and play till dark.

Regards,

Al

I suck at golf, but it sounds like fun.

That is why 'best ball' is fun. Even sucky golfers get good shots every now and then.

Best ball scrambles are lots of fun. Any sport that promotes drinking and driving (legally of course) has to be good! Why else would they put cup holders in golf carts? I'd be interested if we can get something together. Maybe with the BMW or Miata clubs??

OK, so if you really suck... as in, "never swung anything but a putter on astro-turf", can we still play? I mean I'd hate to just go around just making divots and getting booted off the course

Maybe we should plan an S day at the driving range first.

Even if you only know how to putt, you can still be a valuable contributor.

Yeah, lets do this. Sounds like fun. Especially if we could put something together against other car clubs (PCA, BMWCCA, Fiat, Viper, Miata...)

for the good idea Al.

If I'm in town, you can count me in for sure. Scrambles are always great fun. Need to set some up some prizes for closest to the pin, longest drive, longest put, etc.

If we have too many participants, we would probably have to make special arrangements with the course.

Does this course allow BYOB? :drunk_bastard:
