Thanks, guess I should have read the rules first. Do a lot of people use tape to protect their paint? Do I show up with it on or can I do it there so I can get some ideas on how to do it?
It says it's the beginning and novice oriented so will a beginner really fit in? Is the atmosphere novice friendly?

Just to confirm, we are running points this year, despite the revised format?

Just get some blue painters tape and tape up the areas you're most likely to hit cones with. If you hit a few cones here and there it won't damage your car, you'll just have to rub the rubber cones marks off later on. Just ask anyone that is experienced and we will be glad to help you out. You can come find me in the red Lotus if you want.

S2K1DAY You don't need to tape behind the wheels at the Penn event. When I go to Mineral Wells I tape the edge of the fenders and behind the wheels. Lots of gravel at mineral wells but very little at Penn. We all started out as novices. Try to get a ride with someone experanced before your runs and get an instructor for your first couple of runs. Don't worry about your times just try to stay on course and have fun.

If you get first place for the season, then you get a dream date with CosmosMPower.
