I wanted to sign up, but recently had fraud on my debit card account, and I don't know how to change my billing information on the DLB racing site. Can somebody let me know how, or can I pay the day of the race?

Why watch? Watching an AX is about as much fun as watching paint dry, but without the benefit of the fumes. Show up at 8 AM and join the fun. It's what a CR was made for.

They have loaner helmets, which by the look of it, hardly get used.

I went to watch because I was hungover and I knew I wouldn't be worth anything if I tried to drive. I definitely wished I hadn't has so much fun last night.

While I had fun I was confused as hell in the double loop de loop.

In theory it was simple and a great way to to maximize space but in practice there were DNFs all over the place. I thought I had it down pat but my first lap had me off the course twice in that area and since once you are off course nothing looks familiar it's tough to figure out how to get back on track.

My last 2 laps finally saw me on course. I was DNFing at the split from the loop side to the regular side and never even knew it.

I worked on the car the day before to get the brakes bled and oil changed but I should have been working on the driver!

I really enjoyed the event today! However, I REALLY wish the S2000 group would run 2nd and 4th heat instead of 1st and 3rd. It seems that the S2000 group gets screwed TWICE since they don't get the advantage of watching cars run during the 1st heat, then they are the very last to get to leave since they are working the course until the last car has its last run. This is an S2000 club, right? Could we at least split the difference, and let the S2000 group run 1st and 4th, or 2nd and 3rd?

On another note, I'm really curious what the top S2000's with street tires were using for tires. I don't see how there were 3 S2000's below 50 seconds, then all the others were above 51 seconds.. I don't think I could have hit the 49.XXX range with my current setup (tires or alignment). I really felt like I "nailed it" on 4 runs, with 4 different strategies, but couldn't break 51 seconds. Could it be that the BFG KDW2's are 2+ seconds slower than the Kumho XS on a 50 second course?

It's been over 5 years since I've done an event, so it's extremely likely that I just never found a good line. Did anyone see anything in partucular that I was consistently doing wrong today?

Gernby - that's very possible. I don't think the KDW2's are in the same ballpark as the top tires such as the XS/RE11R/Direzzas.

BTW, I didn't knock you out - my quickest clean run was only a 51.5 in the morning. According to a corner worker, a cone jumped in the way of my 49.X run at the last moment...I think he bribed the cone honestly.
