Did you try registering at 7 PM? If so, I'm surprised you still weren't able to slip in ...

Hated to miss this one seeing how I was already registered. Hope you guys had fun and some good competition. I had to go see my dad who is in bad shape in the hospital in Alabama. I'll catch you all at the next one.

Sorry to hear about your dad, but it was a great event! Robert designed a fun course! It was especially great to actually win 1st place for the first time EVER with this club! It is truly hard to believe that I started autocrossing with the S2000 club back in '02, and have had a ton of "almost 1st place" finishes, but have never actually made 1st place till today!
I'm looking forward to seeing some of the videos from Scott's Go Pro!

Thanks. I actually looked back through all the previous results to verify that fact. I think I've just never been that good at the type of courses that NTS2KOC and NTAXS tends to run. In contrast, I cleaned up with my lightly modded '02 S2000 at the BMW autocrosses back in '02-'03 with 4 FTD's.

Don't forget, that the season's winner for each class gets free entry to an event in the 2012 season. Here is where we stand:
In Class S2000, Gern Blanston is just one point ahead of Robert Jones, so this is still a toss-up. No one else is near enough to these two to make a difference.
In Class 1, it's a three-way battle between Jerrett Jan (25 points), Sean O'Neill (22 points), and Brad Henderson (19 points).
All Mike McShane has to do in order to win Class 2 is make one run in Class 2 at event six. However, if he does not make it to the event and Ken Orgeron wins at event six, then there will be a tie, which Ken will win by less than a half-second.
All Jeremy Ault need to do is make one run in Class 2R at event six in order to win the season. If he does not show, then there will not be a season winner for class 2R.
Class 3 is down to Emad Zia and Michael Eason. Both have only run two events in Class 3 this season, but you need three events to qualify for the season win. Emad has 18 points versus Michael has 10 points. Emad just needs one run in Class 3 at event six to secure the title. If Emad does not show, then Michael will only need to make one run in Class 3 at event six to secure the title.
Joseph Kan has slaughtered Class 3R and has won the season.

Here's a couple videos from my iPhone 4 using the new Bubo mount. I think it does a great job, and the wide angle lens seems just right.
This was my 2nd run of the day. It wasn't my fastest, but all of my afternoon videos were black due to me putting the iPhone into the mount wrong.
