Sheesh ... is it me, or are we in need of a LOT more participants?

Less participants just mean we might get more seat time and less corner work

Usually people keep an eye on weather and don't register till the last minute.

I remember when we only had 35 people at a BMW autocross, we got 10 runs each for the day, we might get lucky like that...woohoo!

 

In last 2 years, this is the second time that I have seen more S2000s registered than miatas..lol

 

I don't think I follow your logic about fewer participants leading to less corner work. It seems to me that fewer people means MORE corner work, especially with a large course like this. I don't even think we could have an event with as few people as are currently registered. It also appears to have a pretty signficant chance of rain for that day.

 

The 18th is way too far in the future to predict rain or not.
I wonder if the SCCA Nationals going on right now is impacting registration.

 

I think Zo means less people = less time spent standing around. The BMW event last month was awful because it was stupid hot, and we had to work the largest group.

 

More actual work, less time on the corner......Like a hooker that likes her job

 

My car will not be at this event, this means two less drivers. It will be an easily cake walk for someone like Zo to claim the S2k class.

LMAO!!! I was just going to read the posts this morning but you had to say this to hear my excuse right now? LOL

I am on bald Direzzas, they handles like plastic tires on those RC drift cars...I will be out of this event if it's raining since even a puddle of water makes those tires hydroplane, I am not going to take chance of driving 90+ miles one way if the weather is bad...on the other hand if the weather is good..I plan to go out and have fun as usual
