That's very kind but I should have some good competition with some Corvettes on R comps. Looking forward to the event.

Will be there.

Your name isn't in the entry list. Did you use an alias?

I registered as Scott P. But I'm in Class 3. So 3rd out of 3 is better than 11th or 10th out of 12. Puhahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!

They'll probably move me back into S2000, but I can't help being a prankster...

And I weigh less than the windshield wipers on the Elise - so I'm in.

It looks like Class 1 and S2000 will run in the same group, so it would probably be more fun if you move back to S2000.

It was a fun day, but a frustrating day too. My new NT05's didn't preform like I thought it would. I knew it wouldn't grip like the RA1's I had, but I wasn't expecting it would be that bad. It just turn into a drift event for me all day. Maybe they needed to be broken in? I probably had less than 100 mi on them before the event. I gotta experiment with different pressures. Oh well, learn as I go. Hopefully with more miles and wear they'll grip better. Looking forward to the next one already!

Thanks for another great event! The NTAXS events are so much fun with all the close competition! I think I was in 3rd place at lunch time, but was in 6th place by the end of my 7th run. My last run is almost always terrible, but I managed to talk myself out of it, and wound up with 2nd.

Here is the editted footage from the afternoon. My fastest run starts at 2:57.

Great times at TMS! Its fun to see the really close competition in S2K. I tried to beat Cosmos, but he was just too fast yesterday, and I couldn't convince myself to back-off in the slalom before the finish, so I was too hot int hat final corner every time. Still, three different cars/drivers within 2 tenths of each other in the the FTD race; that's fun.

Revs - Im not sure the NT05's are a problem, even though I don't think they are in the top-level of autox street tires (haven't driven them). The Bus lot is pretty damn slippery for any street tire. Lower pressures might help you get heat in them faster, but softening the rear/stiffening the front suspension will probably go a long way to settling the car's tail-happy-ness. I thought you looked pretty good out there, so don't write-off the setup just yet.

Any interest in forming an STR-type class so we can all run against each other??

BTW, I'd still REALLY appreciate whatever feedback you guys have about how my exhaust system sounded. It was much more "finished" yesterday with all the joints welded instead of clamped like last month. Jerrett gave me the best feedback about it. He said that it sounded horrible and annoying with the rear section removed (race mode), but sounded good with the rear section attached. I think his words over the speaker system was something like "it has a deep throat sou ... oh wait that doesn't sound right ...".

My personal opinion about it is that it might be too quiet, but I like the overall tone. However, It is VERY nice to have an exhaust that sounds like stock on the highway.

Good event course drove well and was fast. Re: the NT05s they probably still had the goop from the mold on them, put another 100 miles on them and they should grip better. IMO the RA1s are pretty sticky though.
