Within each drive group cars will be split up into smaller groups of about 8 cars and they will get to do their four runs. Then the next 8 or so get theirs. After everyone gets their four runs then they will switch workers and drivers for the same process.

There is usually a 1 hour break for lunch and then it is all repeated. After it's all done we usually have fun runs that are not timed with no course workers to shag cones. Anyone that takes advantage of fun runs is expected to help with course clean up.
And while there are two work turns, the work turns are not really long compared to some other club events. NTS2000 knows how to crank the cars out.

And it not really true that when you are not running you are working. In your run group, since about 8 cars run at once, the rest of that time (15-20 cars) you can sit in the shade. My canopy is always available.

What I want to know is why we never go to Woody's for beer after we finish. Good place to recognize results too.

Gregg

Good points Gregg and thank you for the clarification.. Clovis, Elistan, Ego, Marcucci and yourself do an excellent job contributing to these well run events. Please forgive me if I have overlooked someone.

I also want to thank you personally for the efforts you've made to clean up MW. If we are ever able to schedule a work day for the Club I will do my best to attend.

From what I have experienced and what I hear the NTS2KOC hosts one of the best and most popular aurocross series in the area - just ask all of those Miata pilots. More seat time with fewer cars and a well organized yet fun group of organizers seems to be the winning combination.

I am perfectly willing to contribute in any way that I can. I usually get there by 7:30 and am almost the last to leave.

You guy and gals let me know if I can help.

I don't think I'm quite ready to do that. I couldn't spell autocross until last November.

I will, however, help out in any way that I can. I can hang the banner on Saturday since I have it in my garage.

Sounds good, look for the black M3 driver to come bum your canopy
