hey 60N5.5, that's a pretty good parking job, usually i see it slanted how i usually park so no one can park next to me. haven't been to the post office in a while so haven't really seen your car much lately.

i'm located at parker and alma, so not too far from you at all.

and do you know if that yellow c5 is still at the other complex or has it been replaced with a c6?

You are very close to me. I just moved 1 week ago to Plano. I live on Chergourg Dr. near Custer and Park.

Man! We've got our own little sub-chapter of the S2K club. Need to get together at
Starbucks (Alma and Parker) for coffee sometime.

kntrider,

I haven't seen it lately...

I have never had a front plate in the past 10 years. and I've only gotten two tickets. one was on my truck in richardson. I was doing 107 and he was a jerk.. he took it VERPY personally that I was speeding.. like I was breaking HIS OWN PERSONAL law...
Is this a joke?

No offense, but if you get pulled over for 107mph, you ought to just STFU and be thankful the cop didn't take you to jail for reckless driving. The cop was just doing his job, and there really isn't any justification for that kind of speeding.

Before anyone suggests I'm getting high and mighty, let me be the first to admit that the only front plate ticket I've ever gotten was in conjunction with being pulled over for 104mph in a 60mph zone many, many years ago. Instead of getting pissed off about it, I was thankful that speeding and no front plate were the only two citations issued, since I was blatantly disregarding the law at the time.

Still, I haven't run a front plate on my personal cars for almost a decade now, and that's the only no plate ticket I've gotten.

In 10 years with my T/A for 5 and my S for 5+ never even stopped. Just lucky.

oh I know he could. but since I used to work with a cop he told me that you will RARELY get taken to jail for speeding. he said they'er just too lazy to deal with all the BS that goes along with it. they would just as easily prefer to stay out there writing tickets than have to fill out 4 sheets of paperwork and then file a briefing. I don't understand the briefing since shouldn't paperwork cover that he said no...

that doesn't mean I'm gonna press my luck.

as for the post about plowing into someone. I don't weave in and out of traffic at any speed for the most part. I'll pick a lane and stay in it. and braking is done so that there are 1.5 station wagon lengths between us. and it was 6:45 on a saturday morning and there was MAYBE 5 other people out on the road with me.

The lower bracket can be easily removed, and there should be 2 colored plastic plugs in the secret compartment for the 2 upper bolt holes.

Not that glove box... the "other" glove box.

The plugs may be gone (but you should still find the secret compartment...), but you can buy them in any color (look here; scroll down to "bumper plugs"). Worth it.

The "secret compartment" isn't really secret, but many S2K owners don't realize that there is a second compartment above the obvious one.
