If you have a bike you can take the advanced course if you know how to ride, it exempts you from the riding portion of the exam and also gives you an insurance discount. Its like 80 or 90 bucks for the course. If you dont have your own bike or can't ride its like 180 or 190 and they give you a bike, but same insurance break and exemption from the test.

Motorcycles cost less than cars and get better mileage, but they still produce plenty of pollution.

I'm fine with pollution as long as my wallet is happy. You want to cut down on air pollution eat some beef. Cows pollute way more than cars.

FT and Mozo, all i can say is do it! I took the training course and had so much fun i had to just go buy one. I got a garage at my apartment so i could have a place to keep it, but other people at my complex have them and just sit them out in the parking lot. Most people don't bother them, and thats what insurance is for right? Just get a chain or whatever.
