Default need help tranmission problems

My car is having major problems getting into reverse and 1st (almost having to really use force to get it into gear) , also the pedels engagment point seems to be more towards the floor now ( lots of play room ).

well i have looked up some information on here and found that i mite need to bleed the tranmission/clutch?
is that right for my problems?

i just moved to the DFW area and i am not familier with any shops.
could someone point me to a good shop to get it done?

thank you for your help

Did you check your clutch fluid level, when it gets really low you will experience the symptoms you are describing. Either way the first thing I would try is to bleed the clutch and change the transmission fluid.

I can probably help you if you stop by my place. It's a pretty simple task.

Worst case is that you will need a new clutch master cylinder. Start with new fluid first and you should be fine, check for any leaks before you go buying parts.

I've been having the same problem, my fluid level drops every month or so to where exactly what you're describing happens, just dump some fluid in and it works fine, i'm still trying to find a leak, just need to bleed the line i guess but i'm lazy.

Did you check that you're putting the cap on straight? It's really easy to twist it on slightly crooked and the fluid will slosh out on turns.
