Default Might sell my M3 for a S2K, can i get a ride?

Hey guys, i'm in the DFW area and currently own a 97 M3 sedan. I recently thought about getting a newer/smaller car and the s2000 seemed like a logical choice cause i've always loved honda (had a turbo civic before this). I did some research in the S2000 talk section and basically got the info i needed but would just like to ride in one/drive one to see how the car handles before i take the plunge.

If any of you guys would be willing to meet up and let me ride/drive your cars sometime in the near future that'd be excellent, or if anyone knows of any dealers that are cool about test drives point me in that direction. You can email me at josephkan@hotmail.com or IM me at jkan2001 if anyone would be willing.

Thanks!
Joseph

Where do you live? If you are anywhere near McKinney, you can come take a spin in mine.

There's an Autocross this Sunday (10/10) at Pennington Field in Bedford (South on Central Drive across from the McDonalds). Starts at 10:30 and will probably run until about 3:30 or 4. Come on out and I'll give you a ride in a totally stock '04 (except for the competition tires and alignment).

elistan lives just a few miles from you, and he has TWO S2000s. He has an '00 (for sale) and a brand new '04 that I think is still stock. His g/f, egothreat, also has an '03 S2000.

The best way to reach me is via PM here on S2KI.

Sounds good, i'll try and get a hold of elistan and see if i can ride/drive his 00 that's for sale. Too bad he already has 2 s2k's so i doubt he'll wanna trade one for a M3

If i can't get a ride with him i'll PM you and see when you're not busy. Oh yeah the local S2K people are a lot nicer than M3 owners

Thanks,
Joseph

Cool... will probably cruise up there and watch. I'll be the dork introducing himself to anyone in an S2000.

Bummer - I didn't go because it rained all day at my place and I assumed it was cancelled... but a friend drove by and said it was dry over there and they were racing after all Oh well.

As long as there isn't ice on the course and we aren't in danger of being fried by a lightning strike, we'll be out there. The next events I'll be attending are a back-to-back set out at Mineral Wells on Saturday, November 6th and Sunday the 7th. Same time schedule, but since many of us will be doing a pizza party that evening and spending the night, and since it's more or less the same course on Sunday, only run in the opposite direction, we do fun runs Saturday afternoon - usually around 3-ish. If you want to come out for Saturday's stuff, you can make some fun runs in my car (but you'll want to be there early enough to take rides, or even walk the course in the morning so you'll know where you're going).

I woke up, saw it was raining and thought it would be cancelled as well. I might bring my M to the next one so i can compare cars. Also i think the BMWCCA is having an autox the 24th @ mineral wells, some s2k's should come out.
