My mother-in-law is arriving, so I'm going to be eating lots of good Mexican food.

Actually, Yes ... in a way.

Takin' the bad boy down to Port Aransas for the weekend .. stopping off in Houston along the way on business.

Anyone ever been? Taking Hwy 35 through Port Lavaca and Rockport ... hoping for some scenery.

How are the beaches? I know they're not on par with Florida and whatnot, but I'm in need of some relaxing by shore

What are your plans in Port A? I usually go there, but since Galveston is closer, we're going there...

I've never driven to port A via Rockport, etc, but I got alot of good info on Port A...

No plans really ... other than relaxing on the beach with drink in hand.

Honestly, I'm really looking forward to driving around Mustang Island and the Bay. Coastal crusing in the S? Life doesn't get much better than that for me

Might go check out the aquarium in Corpus. Kinda wanted to check out the USS Lexington there too.

Recommendations on attractions? (restaurants in and around Port A? Other sights to see?)
