Couple newb questions;

My first Autox was the NTAXS one held here last month (by NTS2KOC), are they similar? Is it a rolling start?

Is it only opened to to BMWCCA members?

I see a there novice class, should I go for that since it would only be my second event?

Thanks

It's pretty much the same as NTAXS. You have to be a member to run with BMW. It's not much, around $50 I believe and is good for a year. Since its your first with the club and second event, you do have to sign up in the Novice class. BMW courses are usually fast, especially at mineral wells. You get a total of 10 runs and there is a no passenger rule unless you are an instructor. So if you bring friends, they won't be able to ride with you.

Thanks for the info.

Not sure if I'll register; it may be the only BMW event I can make this year.

Yep and it's downhill too. I've hit 100 going the opposite direction in a time trial.
