Look what I cooked for Dinner
Tonite, I had one of my favortie exotic dinners. Mantis Shrimp
Heres what they look like side by side
The Claws are surprisingly sharp
Resembles a Praying Mantis
Side View of this wierd yet tasty creature
The Tail, still has its crustacean traits
Here are its legs which it walks on
Here is one of its arms located in the upper thorax
Here is a comparison of its size.
Mantis shrimp cooking in the oven
Done and smells delicious
Mantis shrimp Meat, ahhh what a delicacy

This gets my vote for weirdest thread of the year
I've had them in mainland China but I've never seen them for sale in the States before.
