Hey what's up guys? I just bought a new Motorola RAZR V3 on ebay. It's a T-Mobile phone, and I have Cingular service. Is there anyone in the area (Cell phone retailers, individuals) that can unlock the V3 so I can use it with my Cingular SIM card? Any help would be appreciated.

I had a phone unlocked at an asian supermarket shopping center in Richardson. There is a small cell phone store and I believe they do it for 40 bucks and it's a 1 or 2 day turnaround. I think you can also buy the cable and software on ebay to do it yourself.

Do a web search. Some phones can be unlocked with a simple code, others require a more complex code sequence but most can be done w/o a cable.

I've unlocked a few this way, you can generally find the info to do it for free if you look hard enough (otherwise there are a ton of pay services on the web that will do it).

Well, from what I've read the RAZR has to be reprogramed. I would just send it to one of those online places, but I'm not sure if I can trust them.

ive taken one of my old phones to a asian place on 15th and independance you had to use a software to do it. harder than most unlocks. PM me if your interested.
