I saw that one, but didn't notice it was compatible with the iPhone 4. Unfortunately, that design won't work with my mount. I also think that the added weight of the huge aluminum structure would cause the video to be more shaky. Heavy cameras are great for reducing shake in a human hand, but work against you when you are mounting it in a car.

I don't think that will record audio in video mode.
Hey Greg, give this a quick test. Not being an iP4 owner, I have no well to tell.
If it works, just run the headphones into the secret compartment - I suspect you'll still get plenty of exhaust noise, but obviously no wind noise.

I did a test with the white head phones that came with the iPhone, but I couldn't get that microphone to work for anything. It didn't work for phone calls, voice recorder, or video. I never had any luck with it on my 3G either. Are you guys sure that even has a mic?

Yep, definitely.

Do you still have the headset that came with the 3G?

Looks cool, but that looks as much as the cost of a HD DVR, that's still going to shoot better video than iphone.

I still have the headset for both iPhones. I wonder if there is a setting somewhere to turn the headset microphone on or off. It really seems like a stretch to think that I've received 2 defective headsets.
