These are the details for our inaugural Sunday Morning Drive (SMD). A lot of folks have asked for advance notice for planning purposes; so I wanted to get this thread started right away. If you have never been on a drive before, this is a great time to get started. Everyone will drive at their own pace/comfort level and we will wait for everyone to catch-up before making major turns on the route.

Here is your chance to enjoy a few of the great car roads Texas has to offer. Bring your favorite car and a tank full of gas and get ready for a nice run through the back roads and highways to a location where we will have lunch.

Who: You and however many people will ride with you (open to all car makes and models)
What: Sunday Morning Drive (SMD) to Lunch (RAIN OR SHINE)
When: July 11th - Start Time - 9:00 AM SHARP

Start: McKinney Area - Check PM
End: Hutchins BBQ, McKinney

Requirements: FRS Radio, full tank of fuel, and safe driving skills
Route Map: Provided the day of the drive (Please do not ask for a map ahead of time)
Lunch: Hutchins BBQ, McKinney

Details: From the meet point, the route is approximately 90 - 100 miles or about 2 hours. We may stop along the way for a quick break.

Only 3 weekends away. Mark your calendars and let me know you are planning on going. I've got the route planned. It covers some great country roads with twisties and straight-aways. Should be a little fun for everyone!
