They're a dark bronze now. I have too much time on my hands.

But why drop geico if they're the cheapest? I'll wait till they find me out then switch to something else.

State Farm wanted $6000/6mo for full coverage with two speeding tickets!
Not good for young people.

Because if they're willing to drop you for doing something illegal, imagine the service you'll likely to receive when *knock on wood* something does happen and you're in an accident.

Seems like Geico's buisness plan is not very customer-centric -- unforunate I must say.

I assume you meant legal, since time trial events are indeed legal.

Or better yet, do as Iain suggests in his original post, and drop Geico for a carrier that doesn't suck.
I don't have Geico, I'm just paranoid

No, its because if god forbid you have a bad enough crash and also have Geico Life Insurance, they'll be out some money.

Kinda like if you need $5000 a month for life support and you're 75 years old its kind of hard to get health insurance. Its risky for them, but maybe not that risky.

But thats the basis of them cancelling the policies. Lame as it may be.

I do agree with about it being very homosexual of them to cancel for legal racing... but they paid right away when my top got slashed so as for customer service I think they're fine for now. I'll just tape over my plates.

That's retarded and in my opinion unethical. If they want to cancel your life/health insurance based on your high risk factors, then that's fine (as long as they tell you that up front), but they shouldn't cancel your auto insurance for an activity that is not related to auto insurance claims (assuming that they exclude this activity from your coverage).

Whatever. I'd still avoid Geico based solely on the impression that this type of behavior gives.
