help with jack point
Hi peeps,
I just bought an S2K this past saturday and I got a flat tire!
The car is sitting on a very sad tire in my parking lot and I just cannot find the jack point.
The spot I *think* Honda intends me to use just looks too flimsy and looks just like the edge of a body panel.
The manual only says, "jack point designated by arrow molded to underside of car. I've looked all over and cannot find any arrow anywhere.
So... any help is greatly appreciated. I've got to get this thing fixed and soon.
Thanks,
John (who's about to go nuts)

The part that looks like a flimsy body panel edge that you're looking at - is it four or five inches long? That's the jack point. Don't worry, it'll support half the car easily.

Make sure you don't use the spare on the rear! If your flat tire is on the rear, you need to move your good front tire to the back, and put the spare on the front. Otherwise, you could damage the differential, since the spare is not full size.

Woohoo! Thanks everyone!
I'll get that sucker changed tonight. I gotta have my ragtop for the weekend!
By the way, if you see a guy in a silverstone/black S2k cruisin' up Central (75) , with a spare tire on the passenger front (driving a "safe" speed of course)... gimme a honk :-)
