Default Help: Engine Stall

Just started my 03 AP1. Rpm was flutuating up and down and so I shut it off. I restart the car but it didn't start. After a few tries, I gas it a little and it start. Now the car can't stay above 200 RPM. After about 5 minutes, Check Engine Light came on. What is the problem?

Just being paranoid, I just brought in my car to Lute Riley Honda about 3 weeks ago for the TSB on the Window regulator under the warranty. Now warranty is out, what could be the problem. Car only has 7000 miles

From what i am understanding it's might be the MAP or the IAC. I had the same problem while i was running with dual ram-air intake(ones of the ram-air ran directly straigh to the intake manni causing the IAC get dirting real quick) my rpm would be bouncing up and down at 2000rpm when in neutral. I had talk to Billman(handyman on under the hood forum) and he told me it's my iac. And so i cleaned the iac and it work like a charm. Try to do the MAP-WHACH and take out your IAC and clean it with WD-40 and see from there.

But like Cosmo had say....it could be vacuum leak somewhere. Try to re-tied all of the vacuum holes and check your coolant. If you need help on how to clean the iac or map-whach then let me know. I think i am getting pretty good with taking the iac out after so many times

Well, the first thing i did was to blow the MAP and up to now, still not functioning. RPM stay around 200 and wouldn't go up. Plus the light inside the car stay pretty dim.

Interior lights are probably dim because the engine isn't spinning at a high enough RPM to effectively spin the alternator to juice up the electrical system. Best bet is to go get the CEL pulled and see what code the ECU tells you and go from there. You will rarely find the problem just guessing, best of luck.

THanks Viets2k. So far so good, I did do more research and basically reset the ECU and then ran the car all the way to the redline. Next, i let it sit idle to relearn the RPM. So far so good. No check engine light, RPM back to normal. But I thought Honda Car are reliable?
