Default Help In Dallas Please

Just looking for a huge favor from someone in the Dallas area. I am very interested in getting another S2000 and saw this one for sale in the marketplace.

https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/105...lack-s2000-tx/

Can anyone go check it out for me and just walk around and take it for a spin to make sure everything works as described. I have a long drive back to MN and just want another S2ki member to double check it for me.

Dinner/lunch on me when I get down there if everything checks out

pm is best

Anyone familiar with this car? Did you drive it? For the amount asked, if it checks out, its a fair deal.

It's not bad to drive a lowered car long distance. I just need someone to make sure this car starts and drives without anything weird going on.

When I purchased my NSX it was on tein suspension and super low. Was worried of course but just took my time and was careful

Hey guys,

I drove this vehicle for a friend of mine locally. This guy is lying across the board! No offense to him but there is a oil leak around the vtec solenoid area. The covertible top has tears, the suspension is not stable. The either needs a real bad alignment or there is something seriously wrong with the car. The steering wheel is The front end is not painted. The wheels were spray painted. There are scratches all around the vehicle. If you have any other questions. Please let me know. I test drove it for about 10 minutes. City roads and the highway.

I forgot to mention, pressure plate is aftermarket, steering wheel is turned far left however it drives straight (somewhat), when applying any load on the throttle, there is a significant amount of pull due to alignment. This car is NOT worth it. I was actually afraid to drive it. I just want his CR Lip!

Which means in his thread when he said, "Alignment just done" that was obviously a flat out lie.

I hope you're able to find another one Vi3tBoy, or offer him lower with the recent discoveries.

I also asked him why was he selling it. He stated that he has too many cars and just wanted to get rid of one of them. There was a whole lot of vibration with the steering wheel above 50 mph. The guy wasted our time. LightKiosk is right
