Have the Tickets been mailed out yet? I think we will go down to Houston on Thursday so we can see Friday's on track activities. Our Parking pass for the Corvette Corral is on the way.

Additionally, Ego and I have decided to head down on Thursday in order to catch extra practice/qualifying sessions. Hopefully there will fewer people as well and we can get some quality paddock time in.

I should have room for 1 extra passenger if anyone needs a ride and is willing to chip in for gas.

Right now i'm taking Jessica and possibly Pilotsi (david) with.

TTT....
Anyone else having problems confirming their reservations at the Fairfield hotel? I've been trying for 2 days to confirm and have received no call back from the hotel and when I do call they tell me their reservations system is down, so far it seems their staff is completely incompetent. We have decided to stay at the Doubletree Suites . The Doubletree is a bit more $ but, the rooms seem much nicer and the hotel staff has been much more helpful. It is just on the other side of the Galleria shopping center less than 1 mile from the Fairfield so we should still be able to meet up and hang out with everyone without to much difficulty. We received the tickets today, starting to get excited..............................

I called a couple weeks ago or so, and they were able to confirm my reservation - even extend it to include Thursday night.

I booked it via phone about a month or so ago but since I got the email saying the hotel is now under new management I haven't called to confirm. If i'm not able to confirm my reservation I may join candyass at the other hotel.

On a sidenote, what are all the pet owners doing with their dogs that weekend? I hate boarding my dog, since he doesn't get along with other dogs and likes to bark the whole time and not eat. I called petsmart in houston and they have some kind of day care babysit for the dogs so I think I may bring my dachshund to petsmart and then pick him up after the race in the evening.
