Clovis,

The Lotus group has only 9 cars so their corral organizer asked me if you would consider including them in our S2000 corral. You might want to give them a shout in the related thread on elisetalk.
I spoke to another Elise owner this weekend that plans to corral with the PCA.

The tickets are in. I'd like to hand most of them out at the Fox & Hound meet in Richardson on Tuesday (3/7) between 6:30-8:30.

Clovis,
I've been following the status of the Corral at EliseTalk. Any details you would like to share here or do I need to make arrangements with TTP? Can you send me my tickets?

Not real sure about the Corral arrangement. I think it will be $15 per day to park in a roped off/gated area vs $10 for general parking.

Not sure but we probably have to purchase our Corral parking tickets from the HGP ahead of time. Can you check with TTP to find out?

I'd like to hold on to the race day tickets and send them with the parking passes at the same time.

Please post this to the S2000 guys.

-------------------------------

OK here's the deal:

Parking passes are $15 per day for all day so come and go as you please.
We will have only 30 spaces each day so get your orders in ASAP.
Mark needs all requests in his hands by May 1st, 2006. This gives him enough time to process the orders and send out the passes.
Our corral area will be roped off.
See map for our area (South of Grandstand 5, west of Grandstand 6)
We are responsible for opening and closing the roped area so please be courteous.
Parking pass must be displayed otherwise your car will be towed.
Regular event security will patrol the area; we won't have additional security dedicated to our corral. There will be a large IMSA corral with other exotics adjacent to us and they have their own dedicated security for their corral. We kinda benefit from this by proximity. J

Payment Option #1

1) Email Mark E. Johnson: mejohnson@grandprixofhouston.com

2) In the subject line include "Lotus/S2000 Parking Corral".

3) Include credit card information: Name, CC number, expiration.

4) Tell him what days you'll be there and how many passes you'll need.

5) Include mailing address so he can send you the passes and receipt.

Payment Option #2

1) Mail Mark cash, check or money order made out to "Grand Prix of Houston".

2) Include a note to tell him which days you'll need parking passes and how many.

3) Make sure you state "Lotus/S2000 Parking Corral" in the note.

4) Include mailing address so he can send you the passes and receipt.

Easy enough. So everyone will be on their own to get a parking pass from Mark E. Johnson at Grand Prix of Houston.

I made a reservation online earlier today for the $69 rate. Did it directly from their website.
You might want to re-confirm your reservation. i received this e-mail from the hotel today:

Dear Guest:

Our records indicate that we are presently holding a reservation for you at the Houston Galleria Fairfield Inn. Effective Monday, April 10, 2006, the hotel will no longer be associated with the Marriott name, but will continue normal operations as an independent hotel and your reservations will be honored.

Our reservation system will not show your reservation past this date. We encourage you to call the hotel directly at (713) 961-1690 should you need to re-confirm, change or cancel your current room accommodations. If you wish to make alternate Marriott arrangements, please call our world wide reservations at (800) 228-9290.

For our Marriott Rewards members, please be advised the hotel will gladly honor any existing reservations using your Marriott Rewards certificates; however they will need actual paper certificates at check-in. To obtain a paper certificate, please contact our Marriott Rewards office at (801) 468-4000. Also, this property will be unable to award points or miles for your stay.

Thank you for your understanding. We look forward to welcoming you again on your business and vacation travels.

Sincerely,

Yes, we still have 3 tickets left. PM me if you'd like 1, 2, or all of them.
