Reserved seats would be my first choice. The Fri. & Sat. reserved seats appear to be in 5 & 6 opposite the Grand Prix Club-Sec.7 for $75 per day ($150 for both days + another $30 for pit pass). 3-day reserved tickets are in Sec.3 for $87. 3-day Super Ticket in Sec. 1, 2 & 4 has nice views in 4 and 2 (main straight/grandstand is Sec.1) and includes pit pass for $129, might be the best value even if not attending all three days.

Wanna' post a poll?

stands 1,2,4 appear to be the way to go. hopefullly we can get enough (25) people to go that we could knock 20% off of that price. Would we be leaving early on Fri. or later?

Agree. We will probably leaving early on Friday. We'll know more on the exact time once the official GP schedule has been released. We'll want to be there in time for the ALMS race on Friday.

Is it OK if any Houston guys tag along?

I copied this thread over in the Houston forum, just in case.

Man, put me down for 90%. Need to confirm work schedule, but should be able to make it. I'm in for the more expensive seats. If we're all going to spend that much time and money to get down to H-town, we shouldn't skimp on the seats.

Yep, everyone is invited. There's a group forming in Austin as well.

Sounds like everyone is up for the better seats and the paddock pass? I am working with group sales to put together something in grandstand 4, 5 or 6 with a paddock pass for Fri/Sat. We'll start collecting $ tomorrow.

I'm probably going to be taking my 13 year old son, Colin (who constantly begs for the S2000 to be "his" car when he gets his driver's license...not likely). He has been going to races with me since he was four. The last one was the ALMS and Trans AM races at Texas Motor Speedway years ago.

Any chance of any other young motorsports enthusiasts being there for him to interact with when he inevitably gets bored with "old" Dad?
