I went to the Sewell Collision center with a puncture wound in my driver's side rear fender (Elistan and CRDM saw the damage at the autocross) from a crazy shopping cart. It also scuffed and dinged my door and cracked my side mirror.

Sewell did an INCREDIBLE job and had the car back to me in less than a week. You cannot even tell there was ever a HOLE in my fender. Paint matched perfectly, very, very professional.

The total bill for filling in the hole in the fender, popping out the ding in the door, buffing out the scratches in the door, replacing the mirror, paint matching everything, and doing a full detail on the inside/outside of the car was $1,100. Due to my awesome insurance company, I only had to pay my $200 comprehensive deductible.

Sewell has a stellar reputation with their auto dealerships, I didn't expect anything different with their body shop.

If you take the car to stuarts make sure your insurance or the other party's insurance covers your rental for longer than you're quoted. Stuarts takes FOREVER to get cars out, I guess they take in too many cars and try and get all the Ferrari's and other exotics out first.

I dropped my M3 off for a bent fender, it took over a month to get it back. Their paint/body work is top notch but the wait time/customer service sucks.

To the best of my knowledge rental coverage limitations are only if you're claiming it on insurance, so if your claiming it on their insurance then it's their problem and their insurance company may push them to complete the work faster (but don't count on it). If I don't have rental and I hit you, then I'm screwed but you'll still get a rental as part of the collision claim...

(I also hear Sewell is good, but have no personal experience w/ them)

Bergmans on 35 in farmers branch replaced my rear bumper in about 4 days. Looks great. They specialize in hondas and acuras.

Thanks guys. I'll contact them and see what they can quote me (and how long!).

The right side muffler is loose and bent out. So, I'm a bit nervous driving my car to work tomorrow. The accident was totally the other guy's fault. I was completely stopped (traffic jam!!) and she just run into me on the highway.

I talked to their insurance company and they say they can't quote me on the rental car yet. I need to wait till the report from the assessment agent (?) come through or something. That'll be ready maybe tomorrow or Tuesday..... ???

I still can't believe this happened!!
