gas gauge shennanigans
anyone ever had their gas guage reset? i was sitting about 160 miles on my tank when it showed about 3/4ths of a tank left. i know i get about 260 miles to the tank so i knew there was no way it was that full. over the next day or two it went down really fast and eventually landed back to where it shouldve been all along.
anyone else ever had that happen?

happened once when i was at this shit ass 7-11 on frankford and preston. slowest god damn pumps ever. it was raining and i didnt feel like going to another gas station so i just sat there... pump stopped and gas gauge showed 3/4 full.
drove home and it went up to like 95% full and i was like uhhh... did i actually get the 11 gallons i paid for?
finally the next day driving to work the gauge showed 100% full

After half way of steadily going down, the gauge plummets to E pretty fast.
The first year I had the car, I was a couple bars below half and within 10 miles it went down all the way to empty and the car stopped. Ran out of gas while on a date with no gas station near by. Friend came by and helped out, after that incident, I fill the tank every time it goes to half.
