Hey everyone,
Last year, Eagles Canyon Raceway held a special event they called the Toy Run. This was a track day open to the general public, but with a twist - the "entry fee" was a new, unwrapped toy, which was donated to a local battered women's shelter.
Last year's event was such a success that they're doing it again. This year, the Eagles Canyon Toy Run will be on December 12 & 13.
These events will be run much like a regular Eagles Canyon public track day - there will be several run groups segregated by experience level, instruction will be available at no extra cost to those who need/want it, and you'll probably get over 1.5 hours of track time. this is the best deal on track time you'll find all year, and it's all for a good cause!.
Cash/check donations will be accepted in lieu of an unwrapped toy if you prefer. Just don't be a stingy bastard - remember, this is all about helping kids that are a lot worse off than you are. Do your karma some good and go fast at the same time. What have you got to lose?![thumbsup.gif](https://www.s2ki.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
I'll be out there on the 12th driving my car and instructing, and I'll probably be out there instructing for part of the day on the 13th as well.
See you at the track!

I'm gonna say "Not likely" unless you bring your own timing equipment. Generally, lapping days & HPDEs don't provide lap times because they are not competitive events. Plus, there are insurance implications if your laps are timed.

However, if you have a Windows Mobile phone or PDA, you can download RaceChrono's trial software, pair it with a $30 Bluetooth GPS receiver, and get accurate lap times ot the 100th of a second.
