That's good... the Elise is a girly car.

I'll remember that when it's fun run time at the next autocross

Take a motorcycle to a track day, then you can talk.

And all of this because one guy wasn't sure if his car was Silverstone or Sebring.

Ouch. I've been looking into shipping my dad's CBR600F4 from CA since he never rides it and is out of town a lot. How long did it take between the Riding safety class/licensing till you got comfortable enough to hit a track?

About 2000 street miles, I think?

Right, w/ that in mind we are all here to have fun and socialize w/ other people who share a common thing or idea. Not "BASH" or make fun of other people, especially new people. We want a growing community not a community full of old farts who were there since it started and are still the only ones there. Which is why I take offense to most of cosmos posts. Because rather than being welcoming to most new members he decides to let that E-pen shine; also because of that a lot of nice people who I have met in real life and have hung out w/ and talked about non S2000 related things have left this forum permanently or who have stopped checking or ask a question because of cosmos.

Good, now if we could just get a few more people like you that can't take a joke or grow some thicker skin to leave then perhaps the "old farts" who actually contribute will be left. It's the internet if you can't take the heat then leave. Keep in mind some of the original people that started the board and NTS2KOC and it's autocrosses/events had their S before some of you had your license, the old farts are the people that make this place work. Too bad the car's second hand values have come down so much in the last year or two that a bunch of annoying ricers can afford it now severely diluting the quality of owners locally.

so the fact that some people couldnt afford the s2000 before the value came down makes them ricers? i thought it meant something completely different
