Crazyness. Cant we(S2000) drivers and girl car(miatas) drivers get along??? Sorry but other than on the track the miata is KNOWN as a girly car.

Why are you trying to bash on Cosmos' post. All he was effectively saying was that it's dumb to buy a car based on other people's opinion. Buy what's right for you. Seriously, if you're unable to "socialize" with certain people because you drive a particular type of car, maybe you should reconsider the type of people that you're attempting to socialize with.

You new guys crack me up, maybe you should get a group buy on a pack of these since you keep getting your current ones all in a wad.
All I said is that who cares what other people think of your car, if you like it then buy it, drive it and enjoy. I couldn't care less if 99% of the population think the Miata is a girl's car I drive it because it's fun, good on gas and easy to work on and has a great community of people. I think the S2000 has similar qualities and if you can't make a $10,000 decision because OTHER people's opinions instead of your own then yes, you are insecure. I can't believe you people are arguing which shade of silver is more girly, it's the SAME DAMN COLOR!
By the way I get out to plenty NTS2KOC, LSCBMWCCA, DFW Miata, DFW Lotus, TX Region SCCA, Mav Region PCA, Equipe Rapide events to meet people, talk about cars, hang out and race seems like you're the one that only posts online

S was not as "manly" 
as my earlier version. I simply used that as an excuse to by a black CF hood . You've got to work it to your advantage . My middle Daughter wants a hot pink S2000, like in Fast and Furious, for her graduation car. I think we can all agree that that would be at least slightly womanly. Good thing she's a girl.
