I don't know how many of you guys are willing and able to make this Driver's Event. But anyway...

There's a Drivers Event being held on Thursday March 16th @ MSR in Houston. Yeah it's a long way and it's on a weekday.

But they are having the Texas Supra Nationals and the V-10 Nationals (Vipers) that weekend. And doing the Road Course racing on Thursday. I plan on driving my s2k out there, and hoping some others would too.

I went to the event in 2001 and it was lots of fun, nice to see 1000 hp supra's putt around the corners but haul ass down the straights.

Driver's Edge is not a generic term used for any driver's education event. Driver's Edge info can be found here.

 

Yeah, DE generally stands for "driving event" or something like that, not "Driver's Edge".

That's a weird picture... I'm sure the track is concrete, but it looks like a dirt track in that pic. Interesting looking track, though.

Course looks good. Too bad its going to be flat. I am looking forward to having 3-4 courses in Texas(4th being the combo course at MSR- FW).

I plan on doing the houston course at some point next spring.
