I have a HUGE favor to ask of someone in the Dallas area. I am planning on getting my rims powdercoated sometime by this Christmas or in January. My S2000 is my daily driver, so that kinda makes it hard for me to wait a few days on the powdercoating shop. If anyone in the DFW area has aftermarket rims and still has their stock rims, could we possible trade? I will do all the leg work, (come pick them up, drop off my old ones after the shop is done with the coated ones, etc.)

My stock rims are in very good shape. No dents of dings in the rims. Maybe a few small scuffs here and there, but you have to look for them to find them. Just normal wear. I will come by to let you inspect them first if you agree to do this for me.

I know this is asking a lot from someone, but it's one of my only options. I just figured if someone had aftermarket rims, and their stock ones are just sitting around collecting dust, they wouldn't mind this. So thanks for any help anyone can give me.

My OEM autocross wheels will just be sitting for the next 3 months. They are pretty scratched up, but I doubt that would matter much if they are being powder coated.

Yeah, it doesn't matter if they are scratched up. I will keep you in mind when I get ready to have it done. Thanks!

Why don't you just borrow a set of wheels while YOURS are getting powdercoated, then give the borrowed ones back. I'd be willing to do that, but since I'm not local that wouldn't really help.

Why swap tires, just use the borrowed tires, i mean, come on, we all have S2000's if you're worried about a couple weeks of wear on some extra set of tires you don't even use.......oh well, nevermind.
