Default discount tire...

We got anyone that works at discount tire? I went in today to the one off of 121 in the colony, and the guy tried to rip me off when i wanted him to price match a tire from tire rack...He did price match but then added an extra 40 dollar charge for mounting charges...thats 40 added on the the 30 dollar standard fee..So he wanted 70 dollars to mount two tires..SIGH

Just buy the tires and take them to your local honda dealership, $18 per tire. I've been done with discount tire for a long time. They rip the fuk out of people selling their shyt. It's like, "Sure, we'll price match but we'll increase the installation prices to even it out" WTF is the point in price matching aka, perhaps trying to save you a buck if you're just gonna wait for you to turn around and rape ya?!

There is one or two guys here that work at a Discount Tire, they MIGHT hook it up but don't count on it.

I had someone who worked at one. He would get me his price on tires, super cheap and install them for free. THAT'S a hook up. lol

Just venting...hate DT.

I agree. I've called 4 different stores and they gave me 4 different prices for the exact same thing. BS if you ask me.

I also agree and think discount tire is a rip off unless you know someone to hook you up and that will take care of your wheels...

Im a assistant manager at the discount tire in Waco and the way we price match all day is match the tire price plus $10 shipping, we dont jack up the installation price it stays the same at $15 a tire and gives you lifetime balance, free valves, flats, rotations(if your not staggered) and FREE pro-rated road hazard...if you were to buy the tires from tirerack.com or any other site and bring them in, you would have to pay for mount, dismount, valves, and $18 for a lifetime balance...

I just wish there was one price for the tires. I don't see how I can get quoted 4 different prices. Makes no sense. Where is the consistency?

idk where the 4 different price quots came from because all dallas region stores have the same price, you can just go to tires.com and put in you zip code to get the price because it depends on if they quoted you with the free replacment road hazard or not because all of our tires come with a free prorated road hazard but the free replacment(certs) are a extra charge per tire...

Suprise, I had no problem off on 121. I saw NTB is coming right next to them.

It seems like every location is depend on manager and who you talk to. NTB that I went on george bush/old denton, they gave me pretty good deal on mine.
