Coming back to DFW
I'm finally on my way back to Dallas (Plano) after a couple years in Florida. Started another business in DFW so I'll be there in about 30 days.
Where are some common meeting places in the DFW area? I've lived in the metroplex for 20 years so I pretty much know the entire area. I'll be moving off Park in Plano near the tollway.
I bought my S2K shortly after moving to Florida so I haven't met any of you, but looking forward to coming out to some meets when I'm not working

I moved from Dallas to Florida and you are moving from Florida to Dallas
I'm down for some Autocross action. Been to a dozen or so AutoX events here in FL and did pretty well. I also hit up Roebling Road in Georgia (where I blew my motor, ouch) and the granddaddy, SEBRING!

I moved to Tampa, more like South of Tampa. Very close to Hillsborough Bay. Where do you guys autocross at? Do you have one almost every weekend? Hell, I will do every weekend since I have nothing else to do in Tampa, just working my butt off and nothing else.
Love the pics! I am waiting to get my tires here so I can take her to Sebring dude! How was sebring? Did you make some videos too? How much was it? I saw online and it's like 275 for a track day by SCCA?
I don't know a whole lot of people around here and all the guys I met don't usually autocross from s2ki.
I am a little busy till 22nd September, after that..autocross/track every weekend hopefully

Most of them will be out of your driving range (since they are more East Coast based) but I think FAST holds events in the greater Tampa/St. Pete regions.
Sebring was a blast. Had a lot of seat time. I think for the day it was like 350 or 400 I can't remember. I also stayed at the Sheraton Hotel on track so that was another 100 or so. I went with local HPDE group Chin Motorsports (www.chinmotorsports.com). Some badass cars on the track. I got passed by a black Enzo a couple times and had to change my pants afterwards.
Even if you're not registered to race, you can still go out there on HPDE days and check it out for free. Meet some cool people, see some nice cars, watch some road racing. It's a good way to spend a weekend.
More pics from Sebring of other cars
