Default Cold weather?

Is it just me or is the cold weather making my S harder to put in reverse than normal? Car only has 13k on it..

No problems for me, but I'm using the GM syncromesh fluid. You might want to try that.

It isn't hard to do. If you know someone with a jack and some tools, you can do it.

Editosted the wrong link. Just look in the UTH section for the DIY.

yeah it makes mine harder to put in reverse.... it was worse on my 02..

also, it makes shifting before the car is warmed up VERY notchy..

oh the flipside, my car feels faster

If you insist on driving off right away when it's cold, try putting it in first for a few seconds and then shift into reverse.

A change of fluid will definitely help. Both Royal Purple and the GM stuff helped, but the GM stuff made everything a lot smoother.

same thing in my z06; lot easier to get into reverse if you put it in 1st gear before
