Default Cleared Headlights

My question to you guys is this. Is there a texas law that states the turn signal diffuser has to be amber or just the light bulb? If you guys could answer this question for me it would help me out greatly. I want to clear my headlights and get rid of the only amber left on my S. However, the Shreveport S2K club always ventures into your neck of the woods. I want to prevent unwanted tickets.

Aren't there plenty of production cars with clear turn signals and side markers that just use amber bulbs?

I have had clear diffusers with amber bulbs for over three years in my maxima. I have never had a problem with traffic officers or inspections.
