Thanks. I think I'm bringing my S! Its difficult to get my mega-Lab and some luggage in the S, but top-down is really the only way to see the lights.

had fun. glad that HPPD suv let us off easy.

it looked like my car was smoking while we were driving in my rearview / side mirrors. did anyone behind my car (no trq plate) see it smoking while we were just cruising?

it usually puffs a bit at the vtec changeover but i've never seen it smoking any other time.

maybe it was just the weather... or all of my mirrors are foggy? kinda paranoid though. i didnt see it smoking when i got home so i figured i'd ask.

I saw the cop and thot he was goin to try and pull us over to lecture us/show some of his powe. rI assumed it was just a typical highland park d-bag cop like the one storming thru the congested parking lot next to mi cocina....

I was thinking the same thing. A few times I looked back and thought my car was shooting white smoke out, it does that occasionally when I take it past 7000 rpm. I think some of the roads were just dusty and we were kicking it up.

HPPD said we were doing 45 in a 30 but I don't recall even doing that. He basically just said slow down and went on his way, not a big deal.
