Camera Mounts: Impressions wanted
So... I'm looking at buying/making a camera mount for the S2000, and I'd like to get some impressions. I did a search, and mostly found out-dated GroupBuys, but not much feedback/impressions on the mounts (other than the opinions of the sellers, which is always a little biased).
So do any of you guys have camera mounts that you've used while autocrossing/tracking the car? If so, what kind/brand is it, and what kind of impressions do you have of the stability and ease of installation/use? marcucci, I'm assuming you're still using the homebrew mount that's described on the S2000.org page? I couldn't download any of your videos to see the quality, so what are your impressions of it? The only problem that I would see with that would be that you don't really have much adjustability (tilt).
Any other feedback is appreciated.
Thanks!

I've built a couple of camera mounts for myself and others in the club. You can check it out at the autocross next weekend. Basically, all I did was purchase a quick release from Ritz Camera and mounted it on a piece of flat black material. It then bolts in the same two holes as the OEM windscreen. No shakes, just right. I can't adjust the tilt but I haven't felt the need to do that either...
See you May 10!

I use marcucci's solution for my in-car videos. I think it works perfect, and tilt can be dialed in by shimming the front of the camera. For bumper cam shots, I made a mount that screws into the toe hook location. The downside to this is that my $10 plastic walmart quick release tripod top isn't rigid enough, so big bumps will shake the camera.
