you will need to port the manifold to to match

from what I heard its a waste of money and doesn't net no gains

i have a 3" true cold air but most ppl go with a short ram because of water. cold air will give u more gains, ur choice. i would get a intake b4 a TB then see if you want to spend the $ for a new TB and port the IM or just port the stock TB. let me know what u decide and i could prob help on the price.

well i want a short ram because i am 1 of those people scared of hydro locking so... i was thinking about getting a short ram and tb together. what do you think? or would it just be better to port the oem throttle body and buy a short ram? because i don't really want to p/p my intake manifold.

if u r not going to port the IM i would just port the stock TB and do a J's style short ram. but if $ is a prob find some 3" pipe and put a velocity filter on it.

You don't want a short ram, it will not net any gains at all. Get a snorkel that fits the stock intake if you are scared to run a true CAI.

I highly doubt that the best CAI, Ported IM and 70MM throttle body will get you any more than 10whp combined, total waste of $ unless you're getting some other parts that will require the whole system to be opened up (increased compression, cams, race header, cat delete, race exhaust, stand alone tuning/Hondata on 06+) or you're FI with at least 7-8 PSI.
