Default Burning smell from under the hood

Late last week I was parking my car in the garage and there was a burning smell coming from the car, I can't figure what it is but I figured maybe it'd go away after doing an oil change and the smell is still there, it doesn't matter how I drive the car but the smell is there if i drive it hard or just cruise, I was wondering if anybody had any insight. I checked under the hood for anything and I can't really pinpoint the location of the smell seems to be on the passenger side of the engine bay.

Plastic Bags burnt to your exhaust is most likely the cause. Or an animal has died in your engine bay (it happens - trust me on this) and is slowy cooking.

It smells oily, I don't think its coolant, I feel like it started after I took out my headunit and put it back in but I checked the wiring and its all intact(and the smell is not in the cabin). I checked under my car around the exhaust and didn't see any plastic bag but I can check again. I was wondering if it could be a leaking master cylinder, sometimes my clutch sticks to the floor, it hasn't been happening and the clutch fluid n brake fluid are both full. Here are some pictures from my engine bay, I feel like the engine cover has a leak, take a look, thanks.

the valve cover leak will cause some smell the clutch leak would be in cabin. look under the dash at the master cylinder where the pedal attaches to the master cylinder if leaking you will see a black slug oozing out the back so my guess is replace valve cover gasket and see if it goes away coolant has a kind of sweet smell hope this helps

yeah, its not coolant, its a very oily smell, and the smell changed after the oil change, such as it smells like fresh oil now, so I am guessing the leak from the engine cover is getting worse? If it is the valve cover gasket, how hard is it to replace? I've never taken the cover off.

Just a thought - check your pulleys, make sure one of them isn't freezing up and burning your belt. That's probably not it because you probably would've lost the belt by now, but just something else to check.

Another picture, I'm guessing that the oil leak is getting worse and is starting to burn when it leaks out and creates the smell so till I replace the gasket(hopefully find someone to help me), I can't drive the car :[
