I think we should do a "fast" group and a slower paced group. Not all of us have Matt's driving ability and we don't want anything to happen with someone trying to keep pace.

I'll go with the slower, but still spirited and fun, group.

At this time I'd like to address some common sense/safety issues. This will be a "spirited drive" on rural roads which have a minimum of long straight sections, there are some fast transitions, and quite a few (i didn't count 'em) turns of varying degree's of difficulty. Your car needs to be in excellent shape mechanically for this drive, it's a long drive and this course will tax your car. Have you bleed your brake system lately, is it dark colored? Change it! Are your pads of decent thickness? What is your tread depth on your tires, close to the wear bars? Your asking for trouble, or worse! Make sure you torque your lugs to factory/wheel spec's prior to this drive. Do a check underneath your car for any wear/defective/damaged suspension parts.

We want this to be a fun, uneventful drive. So do your part, do your due diligence in preparation so we all can enjoy a safe drive.
