There has been talk of the Ben Wheeler drive for awhile now. Vanishing Point Drsnodd and I drove a new route out to Ben Wheeler from Tanger Outlet in Terrell (which was the original meeting point), we were able to locate a better route where we are not driving 35 miles down 20 to get to our main turn off. Last week me and Steve ''Vanishing Point'' went and scouted the rest of the original route to check road conditions.

So I am proud to announce the return of the Ben Wheeler drive and it will also serve as a memorial/tribute to Brooks Gremmels, the man who had a vision to rebuild a dying town and turned it into a small artisan community with unique shops, restaurants and music.

Ben Wheeler and Edom are both artisan communities with lots of small stores and crafts shops, so fella's this is a drive to bring your wife/girlfriend on as there will be a little something that the both can enjoy!


Make sure to check your tires, brakes and take care of any services...it's going to be a fast drive. That being said, let's be safe and enjoy the drive!

Can we have the 2014 Events sticky updated to reflect current (and known upcoming) activities for the S2K (and NSX?) communities. Spring is nearly here and summer is coming. There are already a number of overlapping events(for example, at least 4 events on the 15th specifically - 2 autoxs, the ben wheeler drive & St Paddy's celebrations), and I suspect that it will only become worse. It would be outstanding to be able to see options for what is available any given weekend(outside of the SCCA calendar), instead of being in the position of "oh crap, I already commited to X because I didn't even know Y & Z were on the table". Is there a way that this can happen, or does it already exist & I'm just unaware of it?
