Default AWESOME paintless dent repair guy in Frisco 12/26 or 27

If anyone wants a badass PDR (paintless dent repair) guy, I found one.

I took my Acura to a few other PDR places and everyone said they couldn't fix my dented fender with PDR, that it would need to be bondo'ed and repainted for about $700-900 at a regular body shop. But this guy James got it perfect. If you have any dents or hail damage, he's the guy: 214-543-7018

He did my Acura about 2 weeks ago, and I just got an s2k that needs a LOT of dings removed (unfortunately its gonna need some paint work too but thats another story). I'm gonna have him come to my place to fix my s2k up a bit. He's probably going to come over Weds or Thurs. I'm hoping to have him come around noon and work on my car for 2-3 hours (feel free to come and watch, its an ART).

Anyway, if any of you guys wanna come over and get dents pulled, fixed, I'm sure he'll cut us all a deal if we have more people here at the same time.

The repair cost was $250 for the fender (way better than having to repaint the fender and add bondo). I also had em pop out a couple of hail dents from my trunk for $50 (and those completely disappeared), and I paid $30 to get my headlights "restored" (they were starting to look kinda dull and crusty) to like new condition.

He came out to my house in Frisco and did the repair in my garage. Nice guy, great attitude, said he'd been doing PDR for 20+ years. He even said before he got started that he wouldn't promise that it would look 100% perfect, but that if I wasn't happy with the repair I wouldn't have to pay him. But I was MORE than happy with the repair (hence taking the time to write this review).

It was really a really interesting (and sometimes frightening) process to watch. I hung out in the garage and watched him do most of the work. I was a little concerned about halfway through the repair because he had banged on the fender so much that the dents had disappeared, but then there was a million little hammer marks (like hammered aluminum). A few minutes later with some magical banging and tapping with special tools it looked new again. It really is an art. I don't know how he was able to do what he did without creating more dents or damaging the paint. I'm VERY impressed.

Again, sorry for the crappy before and after photo. I wasn't planning on making a before and after spread, so I just took a quick snapshot to send to James over the phone to get an estimate.

Is there a way to upload images directly, or do I have to go through an image hosting site (pain). there one picture I posted here in a local Frisco forum, hard to tell how bad it was before the PDR though (I didn't plan on making a before and after thing, otherwise i would have taken better photos. bottom line is that there was a crease on a hard line on my fender and he was able to get it 99.999% perfect (if i sit and stare at it from a few inches away, in the right lighting, i think i can tell where some of the work was done because i know where it was hit... but I'd bet no one could spot the work in 5 minutes of staring at my car)

An image hosting site would work the best for this, the set up is a PITA but once your established it's easy from then on. Hope to see you at a future s2000 event!

I recently used this guy, his name is James, and I am another satisfied customer. I had at least 20 dents from hail on the trunk, entire passenger side, and some drivers side. Now I cant even tell where the dents were. He fixed everything for $450, which is a steal considering the original estimate was over $1000. I had to take my car to him due the amount of damage it had. It took him a good 6-7hrs to get it all out. When I picked it up he told me that I found a spot he had missed to let him know and he would come to me to take care of it.

With storm season here I'd definitely recommend James for any dent work.

4 dents $100 total, he comes to you and has been recommended and used by us S and former S guys for years

Since this is a PDR thread, I figured if ask here. Has anyone had dents on the rear quarter panel area removed by PDR without drilling a hole in the door jamb? I have 3 tiny dents (self inflicted sadly) about 6" past the door jamb high on the fender.

I had a couple dents in that spot. Give James a call, he does free estimates and will let you know if he can repair it.
