wheels and R-compunds ordered, 2-day delivery for 11-8-02.


hopefully I will be able to hang with the rest of the group, this will be a new experience.

So which tires did you get? Are you putting the R's on your OEM wheels, and using the new wheels for you streets?

If you didn't order "Heat Cycled" tires, then you definitely need to heat cycle them at least 2 days before the event. If you don't give them a full heat cycle (properly) and allow them to chill for 48 hours, you can ruin them.

With a new set of R's you should be at the front of the pack. Everyone else that I know of with R's will be on worn, petrified R's.

Nope, he has a C5 and race rubber so he is going to be trouble.
