Autocross pre-registration is now REQUIRED for the $30 entry fee, it will be $45 at the event! We are limiting the number of entries to 40 drivers, first-come, first-served.

Pre-Register Here: http://www.s2000.org/nts2koc/autox.shtml

Note: We need 6 Course Setup workers, please respond to todd@S2000.org if you can help out.

The next NTS2KOC-Sponsored Autocross will be held on Saturday, November the 16th, at the Mineral Wells Airpark in Mineral Wells. It's about an hour drive west of Fort Worth, not too far off of 180 past Weatherford. If you are interested in attending, please see below for more information.

Format: The day will be divided into several sessions. If you are not driving a particular session, you will be working that session. Work categories are timing/scoring, grid, and corner working. The number of participants will determine the exact nature and amount of the run sessions. We are planning on four sessions for each driver, with two hot laps each. (Therefore, each driver will get eight runs.) The exact format may change depending on the number of participants. Times will be posted at the timing tent.

Schedule:
6:30am - Course Setup
7:30-9:00am - Registration & Safety Tech
9:00am - Driver's Meeting
9:30am - Parade Lap
9:45am - Session Begins
Noon-1:00pm - Break for Lunch
1:00pm - Session Begins
TBD - Fun Runs (Time Permitting)

IMPORTANT: Please do not begin walking the course before we have announced that the course is open! We have trouble test-driving the course if you are walking it. Thanks.

Cost: $30 base price for pre-register, $45 at the event. $5 discount for club membership. Club membership forms are available at the timing tent and the cost for one year is $35. Lunch will be provided for $5, on-site, for those that RSVP ahead of time. Guaranteed to be worth it!

Lunch: There will be a 1-hour break for lunch. Subway and McDonalds are nearby.
Safety: Check your car, you are responsible for it being in good operating condition. A helmet is required anytime you are driving on the course. Have fun but keep cool - we don't want you to become personas non gratas at the site.

Numbers: Each car will need a unique number. Please center your number clearly on the driver and passenger door. Failure to do this may result in not receiving a time.

Spectators/Passengers: Everyone is required to sign the insurance waiver if they wish to remain on the site. Our insurance gives us the option of allowing passengers during runs. Sorry, no minors.

Cleanup: Please, be nice and stick around to help us clean up the site when the day is done. It makes thing go so much easier.

Disclaimer: Any of the above could change at any time without any notice.

There is no deadline in terms of a date. However, we are only accepting 40 entries. I believe 15 have already been filled in the past two days.

I will go ahead and state a deadline of Friday the 15th at 5pm (the night before). This will give us time to sort through all of them and insure no latecomers.

OR when we hit 40 (if we hit 40).

How many have registered as "R Compound"?

Does anyone know if TypeSH has been doing any Rain Dancing for this event?
