Does anyone on here live by farmers market? Me and my roommate are thinking of moving to camden farmers market and were wondering if anyone had some first hand experience with the area. It looks pretty legit from when we took the tour of the place!

my old roomate and i looked there, it's very nice. unfortunately, it just wasn't as safe as you would hope. that was 3 years ago though, so much could have changed.

like any apt in downtown/uptown - you run the risk having your car broken into -

i have a few friends that live there and i know nick who works in the front - its a nice place, and i would say parking is more secure than other places i have been to.

i dont really think it matters where you live anymore....ive had my car broken into or vandalized when i lived in southlake and when i lived in frisco and when i lived in denton...

yeah as much as i would hate to have my car get broken in to, i mean if it happens it happens... but camden seems like the parking is pretty secureish, i mean we drove by most of the buildings and the gates were all closed, unlike the place where i am now. so yeah.

the preceding posters have covered it pretty well. Decent apartments. Fairly secure parking for that area. Still have to keep your eyes open for shady characters after dark if you're walking.

=/ thats what it sounds like. we are pretty sure we are going to move in there within 2 months so if anyone else has any input or any places we should check out thats in that area or uptown or somewhere thats close to SMU that would be cool.
