Do you have any idea what the suraface is like there?
I have never raced there myself but a lot guys from the Orlando area have been there. They have an Axis vs. Allies event there every year (German, Japanese vs. American, British), pretty cool.

Get in contact with Ian Stewart, he's probably driven there in a GT3.

Ummmmm yeah Ian and Peter and Adam and I don't exactly speak that much!!!
There was a situation last season that kinda split us GT3 drivers up to say the least! (see 200 page thread named GT3 protest on SCCAForum)
LOL, something about illegal camber if I remember correctly.

Here's a quote from SCCAforums: It is just north of Valdosta, GA, right off of I-75. The asphalt there is new, smooth, and supposed to be a lot like Topeka. If it rains, competitors will get an eye-opener, as we did this past weekend at Axis vs Allies, of just how slippery that surface is.

I'll see if I can get some more info from my Orlando friends.

So what was the final decision on the GT3 camber issue? (To save me from wading through 200 pages of discussion. )

Well the Camber plate protest was not upheld at the event. However the second protest on the wing that was adjusted was upheld and my times were DSQ which i could really care less about since it was a Pro Solo i had a chance the second day to put the wing down and run which we did and which I got up to the same position I was before the protest.

One month later.... Fast Track ruled the stock camber mounts were not to be adjusted.

and my fingers now hurt

The silly part of the situation was that it was another GT3 that originated the protest. You would think that another GT3 driver would just duplicate the camber settings & go about the business of competition with the corvette & elise drivers. The corvette guys didn't even want to think about the camber issue because they too could be implicated in the meaning of "competition settings" with there adjustments.

The only way all those Z06 drivers can get that front end camber is to use "competition settings" as stated in the corvette manuels. This is a big "No-No" in SCCA stock classes. But the corvette guys just turn the other way with each other.

Looks like I've found a good car to drive in GA. Just have to tie up some details and I'll probably see you in GA. I have a friend that owns a hotel in Valdosta so let me know if you need a room, hopefully he will give autocrossers a good deal.
