My coast trip was canceled due to ongoing problems with a certain Siberian Husky. Anyone feel like getting together for a barbeque (no, not the dog) or fireworks tomorrow?

I was just going to go down to my lakehouse in east Texas, but I doubt there will be much going on down there since the 4th is on a Wednesday. I might be down for some BBQ, but don't have the place to host it. Hell, I don't even have a grill . If something comes up I'll participate but if not then off to the lake I go! I would recommend us having a drive down there (the roads get twisty) but the cops are tough sometimes and there's really nothing to do (small town, pop 1200 when I lived there). You can shoot off fireworks and the people are friendly, so that's all I will probably do there is fireworks. I'll pitch in for some BBQ.

And Stefan, what's wrong with the dog and why did it cause your trip to be cancelled? Were you going dog sledding or something?

Sorry to hear about the dog Stefan! Those Siberian Huskies are great dogs. As in my other post I am probably going to Granbury on the 4th to lunch with some friends and check out some roads. Have a good one!!
