Any interest in trading your S2000 for an 03 WRX?
Hi,
I am wondering if anyone is interested in possibly trading for a 2003 Subaru WRX. It has 30k miles on it. I am the second owner and the car is in great shape. It's silver with a spoiler. I have never had any problems with this car, it has been a dream. The only reason I am considering trading is because I think it would be fun to own a S2000. If anyone out there is interested please email me.
Thanks.

You didn't mention it, but I assume you'll be adding some cash to the transaction?
From KBB:
03 WRX, 30k miles, excellent condition: $18,340 private sale.
03 S2000, 30k miles, excellent condition: $22,465 private sale.
I have a hunch that it'll be difficult for you to find a local owner willing to do such a trade, but best of luck to ya.

You're kidding, right?
He never mentioned that he was looking for a same year or newer S2000. Based on the private party #s that Elistan posted, I've seen plenty of '00-'02 S2000s go for less than that.

Thanks altiain, I was starting to second guess S2000 owners.
I realize there is a price difference b/w S2000's and WRX's of the same year and mileage. I am not asking to trade 03 for 03, come on be reasonable.
Just seeing if anyone out there is tired of their S2000 and looking for a change. If not I'll hang on to the Subie.

I doubt you'll find someone to trade - but good luck!
And, IMO if you want to come to events with your WRX you'd be welcomed.

Better reserve your judgment... Ian's got a Miata (no S2000)
And you really don't want to piss him off if you're going up against him at an autocross!!!
I totally agree on your other point...we like all sports car enthusiasts over here.
